Culture and Community Context
ThunderRidge High School's schedule is run on an eight period schedule, with a block day schedule happening on Wednesdays and Thursdays. On Thursdays, students attend Access (study hall) and Seminar (a homeroom class focused on community building). Inclusion and community building activities are very important to the TRHS culture, be it through activities in Seminar, spirit week activities, or student panels on topics regarding diversity and cultural responsiveness. The overall demographic is considered to be an academically overachieving group.
